This is a print from an oil painting I created back in 2009/2010. It’s title is April Tree celebrating the return of life and color and energy after long dark winters. I was living in New Orleans when I created this painting, and April always marked the return of festivals and excitement to the city that you could feel and see and hear and taste. I wanted to capture that vibrance and abundance and joy in the painting.
im releasing this special edition from the archives as the beginning of a series of pieces I’m going to re-release. This giclee is printed on 100% cotton archival inkjet paper with pigment based inks. The paper is 13x19” and only 10 of these will be available, signed and numbered. The image on the page measures 17.5” tall and ()” wide.
