The sale of these sets is to help support the Threads Project.

The Threads Project is simple - it's about creating, connecting and community explored through travel, reaching out, sending art and writing letters. Little acts of kindness when we need something to look forward to, a reminder that life can slow down for thoughtful moments. A time to reflect on the people that have been everlasting in our lives, those that have come and gone, some that lasted just a moment and others that we've never met who have touched our lives.

Each person who we come into contact with becomes a thread, woven into the tapestry of who we are and who we become.

Traveling solo always seems to focus my mind on these ideas more profoundly, and also gives me the opportunity to meet many people from all over the world, learning from their stories and wisdom. During my travels I send letters and sketches to people throughout the United States, some who have been integral parts of my life and others who are new connections.

This is an evolving project: it isn't exactly what I thought it was going to be when I began, but that is what I love most about the creative process.
